Heat from summer sun, heat from the vents, activate the scent and push it through the car to keep it smelling good. During the winter these will last longer depending on how strong the scent is, can last 3+ months, during the summer scents last typically 4-6 weeks. When you start to notice the scent isn’t as strong, I suggest putting the lid on, using a different or newer freshie and trading them out.
